Cover Letter

My father taught me to ski when I was three. I’m 39 now, and skiing has been the constant part of my entire life.

As an athlete, I joined a group of Czech freeskiers and appeared in a freeski film with my own freeride part. That was also the first time I got my hands on a camera – and skiing has since shaped my education but also my professional path.

I’ve worked on high-profile events such as the Alpine Ski World Cup and have documented the Paralympic Games in Tokyo, Beijing, and Paris.

I want to ski, to film, and to work with the best.

Sincerely,

Jakub Majerčiak
